Minnie, the mom to my three other cats, was originally a feral cat. As such there are other stray cats that come around the house. I do not know who the father of Minnie’s kittens was (she is admitting nothing) but he obviously gets around.
There is a Tom cat that looks exactly like one of the kittens Minnie had. All black and thin with a tiny tuft of white under the chin, on the chest. Exactly the same as my girl, Tuffy.
The problem is, of course, many times have I yelled at it to come home and allowed this straggler into the house, thinking it was mine.
In fact, when it has been let inside, he is quickly shooed out again upon discovery. Usually, when Tuffy comes into the same room.
